Greetings from the world of performing kids!
The Great Eastern International Kids Performing Festival (GEIKPF) will be held in Singapore 29th May - 26th June, 2010. This is the second time the festival is organised in Singapore to focus on showcasing the best of young talents in performing arts from all over the world.
This festival celebrates children's and youth's passion towards excellence in performing arts.
There will be many exciting events like camps, workshops, concerts and free fringe shows to inspire the audience, young and old. There is also an international performing arts competition (Singapore Performing Arts Junior Champion) for youths to participate from all over the world.
We would like to invite aspiring performers 5 - 19 years old to partipate in this exciting festival from May 29th - June 26th 2010 , at venues all over Singapore.

The ONE MONTH event will be an opportunity to provide a platform for quality performances, by talented youths, giving their peers a chance to aspire, be engaged in and be inspired by performing arts. With an effervescent and creative spirit, the Great Eastern International Kids Performing Festival is dedicated to bringing the performing arts to children and families and being a catalyst for discovery and growth, as well as the strive towards excellence in performing arts.
Making this happen is, GREAT EASTERN LIFE the title sponsor for the International Kids Performing Festival. Singapore Press Holdings Publishing as our Official Magazines has pledged their support to promote the festival in all their relevant papers and magazines as well as their website. This festival is also endorsed and supported by the Singapore National Arts Council and Singapore Tourism Board. Sngapore 2010 is a year of the YOUTH in Singapore as this is also the venue where the very first inaugural Youth Olympic Games will be held in August. Participants and Winners of the Singapore Performing Arts Junioe Championship stand a chance to perform and be part of the performances in the celebrations of the Youth Olympic Games as well.
